Wanted to share my experiences re: bidding on a 4* Vancouver hotel (which, according to this Board, was the Hyatt):I'll be in Vancouver 7/15 - 7/18 (pre-cruise).First bid of $50 rejected.Added Langley region (only 1 and 2 * hotels available) & upped bid to $55. Rejected again.Added Delta region (again, only 1 and 2 * hotels available) & upped bid to $66. Rejected, yet again :) Tried again this morning (having other person bid) Began bidding at $68. Rejected, but Priceline "invited" me to up bid by $17. I declined, added Langley region & upped bid by $7 to $75. And what do you know, my bid was finally accepted :) Thanks, again, to all for the extremely helpful advice!
