Priceline Hotel: 3* Las Vegas (Strip North) Stratosphere

Hello, I am new to the site. I did use your link to book my trip and got a good deal at $80 at the Strat. Honestly, was not expecting that as I did not see the Strat listed on your hotel list. I am still happy though, of course it is not the Venetian but for $80 on a Saturday night is cool with me. The rest of my trip is comped at Harrahs. I will continue to use your site and will pass it on to my traveling friends. Keep up the good work.

I actually did not want a 3*, I just bidded on it thinking there is no way $80 will be excepted on a Saturday night. The Strat is not my first choice as I have stayed there many times and it is NICE for the price, in fact I actually hit a jackpot there in 2005. NO COMPLAINTS HERE WHAT SO OVER IT IS A NICE PLACE, DON'T GET ME WRONG. However, I was expecting the Riviera only because I wanted to try it. My husband and I live in VA and travel to LV at least 2x a year sometimes more and this is the first time using Priceline. Usally, our rooms are comped, but, because of the economy we are pinching our pennies like everyone else. Even though my room is comped at Harrahs the next 3 nights I am actually thinking of bidding on a 5* for Sunday as it is my 39th B-Day and to me this is more important that 40. Who cares that you are over the hill, this is the last time I can say I am 30.......something..... LOL Any suggestions?? on Sunday night the 20th for an old woman......almost...LOL Come on guys give an old gal some help... please let me spend my youth in luxury!!! Any suggestions????

FYI: Any one trying to pench pennies like this old gal. I bid on a 5* in the North @ $100 denied. Then 4* North and South denied. When I went to the 3* I put in $80 and it indicated at the bottom of the screen I had no chance. I entered it anyway and went to the next screen to see the total including taxes. I clicked on "previous" and went back I entered the same price and it did not pop up "based on recent activity you have almost no chance" I bid $80 again and the Strat excepted it. I used to travel on a budget and this would have been helpful to me. So if this is what you are looking for "budget" good luck but remember to use the link on this site as this helps keep this site up and running so good luck "READ ALL THE TIPS ON BIDDING AND USE THIS LINK". You should ignore the "low chance" and "no chance" messages by PRICELINE... we've seen plenty of bids when these messages were shown.
