mjp1542 Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 Hi. I'm new to the forum but hoping to receive some good advice. I travel to Inner Harbor for a guys weekend every year and have never had a problem getting 3* or minimum 2.5* hotels via PRICELINE with a bid of $60 or less. Seems to not be the case for this weekend this year.Maybe I'm trying too soon? What would be a sound strategy to use to get the deal I'm seeking? Also, does anyone know of any big events going on that weekend that might be causing the hotels to be less gracious this time around? Thanks!
thereuare Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!HOTWIRE is currently showing 3* and 2.5* hotels (although these may not be rated the same via PRICELINE) for $70-$80 so your bids would seem to be inline. Would you be interested in either of these HOTWIRE hotels or prefer to wait it otu and try PRICELINE some more? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 The 3* is a match for the Sheraton City Center while the 2.5* is a match for the Holdiay Inn Express at Baltimore Stadiums so that would be our best guess for each. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
