daticket Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 Hi,I've been bidding on the Orlando MCO area for a few weeks now. Trying to get a 3* for $45-$50. I've won the Hyatt for $45 in the past, so it appears to be a reasonable bid. However, I just can't seem to win one for this trip (11/20/08 - 11/21/08). Is it too early? I've bid both for $45 and for $50 with no luck. I'm wondering if Thanksgiving has anything to do with it, but I can't imagine it b/c I'm a week early, mid-week, one night. Also, are there any free rebid tricks so I don't have to wait 2 days in between each try?Tried to check out Hotwire's offers for this date to see if my bid was even close, but I didn't see any 4* listings (which is what they consider the Hyatt to be).I'd be happy with any of the nearby hotels that offer free shuttle service to/from the MCO airport, but of course the Hyatt would be the most ideal. Budget wise, I'd like to stay under $60 pre-tax. Would love to hear any advice you have! Thanks so much.
thereuare Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 Please don't forget to follow-up your previous Orange County thread with whatever you have ended up doing for that stay.I've won the Hyatt for $45 in the past...How long ago did you win at that rate (tried searching YOUR THREADS but unfortunately you didn't post your MCO Hyatt win to the board :) ) Do you recall how much the hotel direct rate was for the nite(s) you stayed at the Hyatt MCO?Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
