UK_Griffin Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 Hi allI have never used PRICELINE before so am looking for some guidance !I need 1 hotel room for 2 people in NYC checking in 4th December for 3 night.I have read your advice on staying centrally so am happy to go with Times Square, MidTown East or MidTown West. What starting bid \ realistic price should I be looking at for a 4* hotel? Am I best waiting until nearer the time or is now ok to start bidding?Any help \ advice would be very much appreciatedThanksAndy
thereuare Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! This is a very expensive time in NYC and based upon current prices a 4* hotel is likely going to cost in the $300's :) Not sure if this is the budget you were expecting or what your thoughts are. Is there a reason you're not including the CPS zone in your bidding? The ESB zone is also fairly centrally located as well, and for difficult (read: expensive) dates it is often advisable to include as many zones as possible to increase the pool of hotels able to accept your bid and get the best price possible. What is your expected budget? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
