I would start at $60 and increase $5 every 24 hours.

You probably don't have a 'real' chance until $70-$75, but rates are not high for these dates so i would start a bit lower given the time on your side.

Thanks! Any questions feel free to ask.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I was following your advise and bidding in increments of 5 dollars. When I bid at 65, my offer was denied, but I got a screen that said that it was a "one time opportunity" to bid again right away if I was willing to raise my bid by 17 dollars (65+17=82). I knew my real chances started at around 75 dollars, so I went ahead and clicked yes and I am SO glad I did. We got the Intercontinental Budapest for 82 dollars a night + tax.

This was an absolute bargain as we just came back from our vacation and the hotel is in the best location ever and a total bargain for the price we paid.

Thanks for the advise
