Minneapolis MSP minivan

I bid unsuccessfully for a minivan from the Minneapolis-St Paul airport on Friday 8/1 (the bid was $25). On Saturday 8/2, I got email from priceline that said:

We have great news XXXXX! Since it has been at least 1 day since your last request, you can try your exact same Name your own price ...

I thought that you had to wait 72 hours between bids for cars. Has this changed?

If not, is the invitation to rebid after only 24 hrs a sign that my $25 bid was in the ballpark (like a counteroffer for a hotel)?

Yes, the lock-out period for car rentals is now only 24 hours (changed about 6-8 weeks ago)

However, please DON"T use the link in the email sent by PRICELINE... come here and click our own link to get to PRICELINE.
