Colfax
If you're planning a day at Universal Studios consider bidding for two 3* rooms in the Burbank-Universal-Glendale zone, either just for the day you'll spend at Universal or for your whole stay. B-U-G zone has good freeway access to many areas, including Hollywood, and you'll pay less for a 3* in B-U-G than in Hollywood or Bev Hills/West Hollywood zones...probably less than $90 per room and sometimes less than $75.If that option interests you let us know and we'll suggest a specific strategy. You'll need to enter "Burbank" or "Glendale" as your destination as PRICELINE doesn't include this zone in the general LA zone cluster. If you prefer being in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area think about bidding for two 2.5* rooms there. You'll be lucky if you win the 2.5* Beverly Hills Residence Inn. I don't think $225 will be enough to win two 4* rooms or two 3* rooms in BH/WH but there's no harm in trying up to $112 for a 4* or 3* in that zone. Link to comment
