Priceline Hotel: New User

Hi, I'm a new user to this forum (of which I've heard many great things about), and noth PRICELINE and HOTWIRE for that matter.

My question is: I'd like to stay in Niagara Falls Canada at a 4* hotel. My only concern with using either Priceline (preferred) or hotwire, is the distance of the hotel from the "main" tourist area. Are the hotels generally in the tourist-concentrated areas?

Also, if I understand this correctly, I simply visit the site, enter a destination, enter a bid (priceline), and buy? At what point during this process can I come onto this forum and ask for a guess as to the hotel I may be getting?

Any help/tips/direction is GREATLY appreciated, as I travel often and would like to become a regular user.

The HOTWIRE property above matches the Sheraton Fallsview and the Fallsview Plaza Hotel and might also match the Hilton, so either of these are likely candidates. However, the property i'm seeing on my own HOTWIRE search for your dates shows a Tripadvisor rating for 3.5/5.0 wth 220+ reviews... if you see this on your search as well (only appears after you click the "Continue" button next to the offering) then this is a match for the Fallsview Hotel so that would be our best guess of the three.
