I am willing to stay in Charleston, SC (preferably Mount Pleasant) between 08/14 and 08/17. I was wondering what a good starting price would be and also if I could get a better deal by splitting my stay in different bids?

I read a couple reviews about Mt Pleasant hotel and do not want to take a chance on 2* hotels. So I guess 3/4 would be nice.

ANy where in the shaded area would be fine. I was also considering if I should look into downtown Charleston and Ashley river. I need to be "not to far" from West Mount Plesant and I'll have a car. Just wondering if the river crossings can get congested sometimes.

I was also considering N Charleston for the 16-17 night since I fly out in the morning on the 17.

Regarding the price the lower the better ;-) but definitely under $100/nite

Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3* or are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better hotel for this stay?

I would prefer being in Mount Pleasant but do not care for a short drive if it can save me some money.

The HOTWIRE hotel above is a match for the Comfort Suites At Isle Of Palms Connector so that would be our best guess.

Is this a good option for you or do you want to try bidding on PRICELINE for a 3* up to $100/nite?

I'd better try to get a lower price on priceline before.

The HOTWIRE hotel above is a match for the Holiday Inn Charleston-Mt. Pleasant so that would be our best guess. However, on my search it's coming up at $99/nite, and there is a lot of room between this price and your last $65 bid on PRICELINE... would you want to go another round of PRICELINE bidding in an attempt to do better than $99?

Priceline did not work up to $95 so I choose to book directly with Quality Inn & Suites Patriots Point at $102.
