Priceline Hotel: 4* Niagara falls, CA (Aug1st) HELP

Hi, I am new to this board and I found this helpful site. I hope someone can help me out on this issue.

I am trying to reserve a room in Niagara falls for Augst1st (1 night only), and I tried both Hotwire and Priceline..

For the 4* hotel i have increased up to like 105 (90 1st bid, 100 2nd, 105 3rd bid) but still can't make it..

I am wondering what is the reason price to bid the 4* hotel in Niagara falls.. Wellz, I m willing to accept the 3* hotel too..

what s the price range to rebid the 3* hotel?

I saw the Hotwire offering Doubletree for 159 +SAF ... so I doubt if i should increase to like 130 to get the room ..

COuld someone give me any ideas or suggestions?? All replies are welcomed...

How high are you willing to go for a 4* property? How high are you wiling to go for a 3* property? Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3* or are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better property for this date at this time?
