genechien Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Hi, I wanted to get some help with my bidding strategy for the Waikiki Beach area. I'm looking for 3 rooms for September 4-8th. I'm looking to spend a maximum of $130 per night (before taxes and fees), per room, for either a 4* or Resort. Recent wins with very similar dates won the Hyatt Regency at $130, which is what I'm aiming for, but didn't include bidding history so any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.
thereuare Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Since the Hyatt is a Resort class property, did you want to try for a Resort property up to your limit first, or are you looking for the least expensive 4* or better hotel for this stay?Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 At the Resort level you have five re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select Resort Waikiki Beach...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
