thereuare Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! What are the amenities associated with the HOTWIRE hotel above you're being offered? thereuare Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Minor price fluctuations with HOTWIRE are common and you should expect to see slightly different prices when searches are conducated a few hours apart from each others.Regarding the hotel above, does HOTWIRE also show a Business icon in addition to the amenities you've listed above? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. squall0110 Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 whoops, dunno how i forgot that, but yes it does show a business centreBusiness CenterGuests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may applyalso 1 question: how do room upgrades work and what kind of fees are we looking at? if possible i would upgrade to a king size with juccuzi thanks again
thereuare Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 The above is a match for the Sheraton Fallsview so that would be our best guess. The Smoke Free icon is failry new with HOTWIRE, and the Hilton and the Renaissance Fallsview Hotel have previously been reported with these amenities too, except for the Smoke Free... so it's unknown if these hotels are non-smoking as well. However, also note that none of the above match the number of reviews you listed in your first post. While this attribute is no longer showing on a current HOTWIRE search, if posted correctly above, it casts some doubt over the above htoels (although perhaps the Fallsview since that recently underwent a name change and maybe the 20+ is since taking over Fallsview Hotel (from the Renaissance name)).As far as room upgrades, PRICELINE and HOTWIRE bookings are for standard rooms. You may be able to upgrade for an additional fee at check-in if available... but there are no assurances that such a room would be avaialble or if the hotel will even allow you to upgrade for an additional fee. If you are must have an upgraded room you should probably book direct (but when most realize that just how much more a traditional booking is vs. the PRICELINE / HOTWIRE room... they decide that the jacuzzi (oceanview, etc, etc) isn't worth an extra $xx per nite. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. If you do choose to book direct please note that we have links to most major hotel chains in our support page and please use the links there to begin any hotel direct purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.
