maxjohnson Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 I have been trying to get a 4* in Vancouver on Priceline for downtown area. I have bid for two days startong at 90 and by end of second day up to $135 for 4 zones. Does it make any sense to increase zones that don't have the 4* if I don't increase the price? Should I wait a few days? This is for 8/13-17
thereuare Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Welcoeme to BetterBidding! There is really no point in using re-bid zones if you're not going to increase the price at all. Since adding a re-bid zone is essentialy making the same bid again, it would only have an effect if you had reason to believe that rates had changed since your previous bid.Your stay is only two weeks away so you should try to find a suitable back-up which is cancellable if you choose to wait it out and bid again in a few days... this will at least protect you from rates going higher from here. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated and let us know if we can be of further help.
