thereuare Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 I am aware of the 7 free re-bid zones I have...You actually only have SIX re-bid zones... Summerlin is NOT a re-bid zone. Although there are no 4* properties in that zone, there are Resort class hotels, and your 4* bid could be upgraded to a Resort property, thereby making Summerlin not a re-bid zone.We woudln't want to suggest a strategy which went higher than you were willing to bid. Based upon the rates you've posted above, how high are you willing to bid for an 'opaque' purchase? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. JSM123 Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 I was hoping to get a 5* hotel room for $120-130 if possible, but willing to go 155 if required.
thereuare Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Are you only looking for the North Strip zone or would a 5* in the South Strip be acceptable as well? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. JSM123 Posted July 31, 2008 Author Report Posted July 31, 2008 A 5* in South Strip could be acceptable as well. Is Mandalay Bay the only one in the south strip?
thereuare Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 TheHotel is the only reproted 5* hotel in th South zone, but there could be others (it's suspect that the Bellagio would be such a hotel if they do, or ever decide, to participate with PRICELINE)Assuming both zones are acceptable, with your SIX re-bid zones i would bid as follows:Select 5* North Strip...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 5* South Strip...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 5* North Strip and South Strip...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
