almimi Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 Veteran Boston winners, maybe you can help me with my dilemma. What are my chances of ending up with one double or one queen on a 4* PRICELINE win in Quincy or Copley zones in Boston? I've always gotten a king or two doubles on 4* wins, but on a recent win in Toronto (DT Sheraton Centre if you are wondering) my husband and I almost got stuck with a small room with one double bed! Luckily, the room wasn't ready yet, and when we went back later in the day, a better room with two doubles was open. I'm planning a trip to Boston with my sister, and we need two beds or at least a king. I know we can call the hotel ahead of time and request two beds, but I have pretty a decent cancellable back-up over Labor Day weekend (Onyx $169+taxes) that I may decide to stay with depending on what you have to say. Let me know if you think HOTWIRE is also an option - I've never used it. Thanks for your advice.
thereuare Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 I can't place a percentage on your chances of success with a King bed or a room with 2 beds via PRICELINE, but if you search HOTWIRE for triple occupancy (try both 3adults/0children and 2adults/1child) you'll essentially guarantee two separate beds... although in some instances the 'second bed' could be a pullout couch, rollaway, etc and not a 'true' bed. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
