:) :o :) :D

This is the second time I've used your site with great success, which is why I've registered and look forward to posting "wins".

I booked a trip to Chicago using Hilton reward points, however, the Hilton didn't have room for us the third night which meant I'd have to change hotels for the third night of our stay. For fun, I decided to use HOTWIRE and see what came up. It gave me a 4.5 star Streeterville hotel. The price? $123.00. Given the price of other hotels in the area, I knew this was a huge bargain, so I checked your bulletin board and found this Chicago InterContinental thread. Since Roots had such great results, I went ahead and paid and got INTERCONTINENTAL.

Woo Hoo! We are Hilton and Starwood club members, so I don't think I would have stayed at Intercontinental without getting introduced to it through HOTWIRE. And $123 for a Friday night? Wow! I feel like I've really won something. I will be traveling with my 6 year old daughter who is very excited about the pool.

FYI. I went back and tried to book two more nights (Wed & Thurs) and figured for $123, we'd stay at the Intercontinental the whole time and save the reward points for another trip. Unfortunately, the deal was only for that one night. But I'm not complaining :).

Thanks for your help.

The Intercontinental is a hotel with a very rich history and impressive architecture (the pool and pool area are exceptional, as the pool was one of the first pools built on a higher floor and considered an architectural feat at the time.) The Grand Ballroom is also stunning. To top it off, you'll be in a MUCH more central area than the Hilton.
