My son is 20 and planning on travelling to Niagara Falls and then on to Toronto. The HOTWIRE terms indicate the Primary Traveler must be 21. The hotels in Canada are generally age 19 for minimum age. Any idea whether this would be an issue for him.

If he lands a hotel where the check-in age is 21 it could be a problem. It's often not, but you could get a front desk clerk that cares or is just having a bad day and asks for ID. I would think it's less of an issue if the hotel above is indeed the Sheraton on the Falls and their policy is 19 years old and over, but technically it is going against the terms of use, so we can't give any assurances that it won't be an issue.

I'd start by giving the Sheraton on the Falls a call and ask them what the minimum age to check-in is, and then if they state it's 19 years old, ask them if it matters if the room was booked thru HOTWIRE.
