erswa Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 I am bidding on zone 1. Kaanapali Resorts (as well as zone 2 and 3 for rebids) without success. So far I have bid up to $190. I am travelling in Nov 08.Should I keep upping my bid or wait a month and try again at around $150. I have read other people have had success at $149. Thanks

thereuare Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 Rates at the Sheraton and Westin are "inline" but rates at the Hyatt are a little higher than usual.I would suggest finding a cancellable backup and not bid any higher than you already have.I'll also point out that HOTWIRE has a 4* Condo available for your dates for $145/nite which is a match for the ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores so that would be our best guess. Not sure if this would work for your plans or if you like staying in condo properties, but if correct the reviews are very good and at $50 less per nite than you have already bid my represent some good value for this stay. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thougths and/or if we can be of further help.Keep us updated as to your progress if you continue to bid.
