As you notice, I'm currently staying in 4* Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus of Oak Brook.

I decided that I want to stay for another night, and wanted to try another hotel, and I paid $9.95 + tax for the internet service here, and bid for 3* around the area, and won the Doubletree Hotel 3* for $40 + tax, total up to $52.11

On the update why I decided to move out, this hotel here (Hyatt) is in fact very beautiful, and the front desk attendant (Mark) was very helpful, and he even greeted me with my name every time I came back. As of now, I'm still staying here, it's my 3rd night, the place is absolutely beautiful, and it's stunning lake view. Mark (front desk) assigned me to a king size upon request, instead of the 2 full size bed, and set me up with everything I needed for my stay. But after reading around, and found that another person purchased a night at Doubletree for $41, I decided to stay another night and go for the Doubletree, since I got a Hilton Honors Membership, which means I get free breakfast. For people who travels a lot, sign up for this, it includes points for Hilton/Embassy/Doubletree/etc. and if you stay 16 stays or 32 nights, you get free breakfast every time you visit a Hilton.

By the way, Hyatt is beautiful, but everything is expensive. My room service cost a total of $72, I knew of the charges, but still, it's a lot compared to other places.

And a good thing about Doubletree though, is that they would allow me to check in early, I can check out from my Hyatt any time after 5:30am, and they'll accommodate me after that, and they set me up on a king size room too. Will keep everyone updated on how the room.

Thank you for sharing your latest win with the board.

Note that usually you will not receive your Hilton Honor perks on PRICELINE stays. Occaisionally you get a hotel that will honor them, but the 'rule' is that you're not entitled to them.

I do get my free breakfast here though, but the hotel I stayed in last week at Kansas City Airport Hilton, they did not honor me with the free breakfast. So, it's kind of true to an extent whether or not they will give you the free breakfast.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated, this hotel isn't worth staying in. I'd recommend others to not bid for a 3 star in this zone, because this hotel is really out-dated, looks really old, and was told it was an old Hyatt that they no longer want, and sold it to Hilton. The walls are thin, I couldn't get a good night sleep because my neighbor had their TV turned on loud, had to call front desk, they sent security up, and my neighbor had to come knock on our door only to call us "assholes" ... but they come with free internet though ...
