:o I LOVE THIS SITE... so far in the past 1.5 years, I have booked the most amazing stays for pre-cruise, weekends-away, etc.

And once again, I came, I read and I CONQUERED!

I am a hero at home every time I do this!!

I used the suggestions found here by a fellow member:

bid 3* hotel in the Medical Center area, was denied.

Priceline then offered me to get me my reservation if I increased my price by $14.....TRICKY, TRICKY...... :) but I stayed my course....

I selected another area: East San Antonio (which has no 3* hotels in it :) ) and increased my bid by $5 and BINGO...It gave it to me for $55/night!
