cjsnovak Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Hi, This whole bidding on a hotel thing is new me. In fact, putting a messag on a board is as well. If I do something wrong, please forgive me in advance. Just tell me what to do or not to do and I will fix it. Anyhow, I need advice for how to get these 4 star hotels for 69.00 a night. I see several on here that have booked the InterContinential for only 69.00 a night. How do you do that? Please advise. We love that hotel and would love to get in on the good deals too.
thereuare Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Start here which explains the similarities and difference between PRICELINE and HOTWIRE:I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.Hotel rates are date specific, and the ultra-low rates that you're refering to at the Inter-Continental were seen during the winter months when Chicago is visited much less frequently. We are still seeing some very low bids being won at 4* hotels in the Loop zone, but again, they're date specific and you should adjust your expectations accordingly. What are the date(s) of your stay (or are you flexible and just looking to get away when rates are cheap)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
