At $150 (bidding all 4* Manhattan zones except Lower Manhattan), I was offered a free re-bid if I upped offer $25, so I went $155-$160-$162 using re-bids and ended up with this. Not really sure if I'm thrilled with this hotel as the trip advisor reviews leave something to be desired, but still happy with the price. Rates on Starwood website start at $279 (prepaid, no cancellation).Used link PRICELINE from this board.
thereuare Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing it with the board.I think any issues with property have to do with value, as when guests pay upwards of $300+/nite for a hotel room they expect a lot, and in NYC with their notoriously small rooms, it's hard to deliver what is expected. For $162 i think you'll be pleased and will be getting your money's worth from this property.Do try "the Burger Joint" in the hotel's lobby as it really is a 'joint' and make a good burger.
