The room was offered for $199

This property is coming up on a LOT of searches lately but has not yet been reported to the board as nobody has purchased it.

Given the price and TA ratings, i would think this is an "ok" hotel, but i would hope that you could do better in the weeks ahead. I would book a cancellable back-up to protect yourself from rates rising and continue to search HOTWIRE (and/or PRICELINE). I recommend Quickbook for cancellable back-ups as they often have good rates and most of the rates are fully refundable up until a few days before arrival. (one option there is the Beekman Tower, which is a little bit east to be ideal, but for ~$225/nite it's a decent deal, gets good reviews, and you'll know exactly what you're getting, available thru Quickbook. Another option is the Desmond Tutu Center (this one is a bit West) but also gets very good reviews and is avaialble for $236/nite thru GTA Hotels)
