Priceline Hotel: 3* San Diego (Del Mar) Doubletree

I almost have a bit of buyer's remorse here, was torn between a 3* and the 2.5* Sorrento Country Inn. I got up to $65 bidding 2.5* in these areas, Coastal, Del Mar, Sorrento and North Cnty Coastal, then figured I'd see if I could get the 3* before I went higher on the 2.5. Doubletree seems nice but the free breakfast for the whole family would have saved us some money at the Country Inn. Still, I do like the proximity of the Doubletree to the Torrey Pines State Beach, and all the reviews are good. Used the PRICELINE link here, thanks!

Hotel direct rates for these nites start at over $250/nite so i think this is an excellent deal... you can take some of the savings and have an inexpensive breakfast at a Dunkin Donuts or similar place with muffins, bagels, etc.
