Hotwire Hotel: 3* Kansas City (Overland Park) Hyatt Place Metcalf

Any idea what either of these hotels might be? As far as I can see, they aren't in the list of KC hotels that have been identified.

$75 - 3.5* - Overland Park - Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Hi-Speed Internet

(My guess would be the Overland Park Hyatt Place Convention Center?)

$54 - 3* - Shawnee-Merriam - Complimentary Brkfst, Fitness, Pool, Business, Hi-Speed Internet

(Perhaps this one is the Hampton Inn Merriam?)

Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The 3.5* is a match for the Sheraton Overland Park at the Convention Center while the 3* is a match for the Hyatt Place (however, there are two Hyatt Place properties in this zone, Overland Park/Metcalf and Corporate Woods... both have the same amenities so not sure which this one is/might be)

Thanks for the assistance on identifying the 3.5* as the Sheraton OP Conv Cent. However, I do want to verify your remark about the 3* you mention as the Hyatt Place (either Metcalf or Corp Wds). The 3 star amenities I had in my earlier question were for a hotel in the Shawnee - Merriam area (Complimentary Brkfst, Fitness, Pool, Business, Hi-Speed Internet). Just to clarify, did you mean that my 3* Shawnee-Merriam hotel w/ amenities matched the Hyatt Place in OP? I'm assuming no. If not, did you mean that the 3* hotel @ $52 that comes up for Overland Park showing Comp Bkfst and Pool are a match for either the Hyatt Place OP/Metcalf or the Hyatt Place OP/ConvCent. I guess I would have thought a Hyatt Place would have more amenities listed than just those two. From the reviews I've read, both OP Hyatt Place Hotels would be excellent for the price and I would be satisfied with either as their locations are not that far apart.

If no to both, I would really appreciate you explaining further. Also, are you able to identify the 3* Shawnee-Merriam hotel? Thanks very much!

The 3* Hyatt Place properties above are indeed in the Overland Park zone. However, i don't know if these are offered for your particular dates... i was just matching the amenities you listed to hotel's in the Overland Park zone (thinking both hotels you inquired about above were in the same zone)

Unfortunately the 3* in the Shawnee-Merriam hasn't yet been identified.

Made my HOTWIRE reservation tonight after spending many hours doing more hotel ID research. Was not happy with the selections that kept coming up and my inability to identify the hotels. I was offered a 3 star Overland Park hotel with amenities I had been looking for since you told me about the amenities for both Overland Park Hyatt Places. Woo-hoo!

I've included the reservation details here, but wonder if I should also do a new topic so others will see the hotel and price in the topic. I'd be happy to...just let me know.

Aug 9 - 11 (2 rooms) - $64 per room per night

3* - Hyatt Place Overland Park Metcalf

Amenities - Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business
