Hotwire Hotel: 4* Chicago (Magnificent Mile-Streeterville) Sheraton Towers

Hello,

Please identify: 4-star hotel in Magnificent Mile - Streeterville $99, August 3, one night stay.

Hotel Amenities: No Smoking, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant(s), Business Center, & High-speed Internet Access.

It says Customer favorite, Best value, Lowest price guaranteed.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. First time using HOTWIRE. I will be traveling with my 10 year son by train.

The above is a match for the Sheraton Towers so that would be our best guess.

I'll add that for ~$20 more there is also a 4.5* in this zone (Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business)... best guess is that this is the Inter-Continental or the Conrad Hilton; both get very good reviews which you can read HERE and HERE... however, note that there is no pool, which is something i'm not sure if you're looking for in this stay for your son.

The Sheraton isn't bad by and stretch of the imagination, especially at ~$100, but i mention the other two if you're looking for something a little nicer.

Got to have a pool, or I would go for the 4.5.

Is it worth waiting till the last minute for a better price, or is this as good as it gets.

However, hotel direct rates at the Sheraton are $200+ for this nite... at more than 50% i think this is a very good deal and while rates could possibly go a littlle lower... what if they go higher instead? What if this hotel disappears entirely from the HOTWIRE offerings and a reasonably priced hotel with a pool isn't offered?

Personally i'd be happy with this bird in hand and not worry about the potential two inflight... i think any additional potential savings aren't worth the risk of this hotel disappearing entirely and leaving you with fewer choice of a hotel with a pool.

4-star hotel in Museum Campus - McCormick Place - Soldier Field

fitness, pool, reataurant, internet & business center.
