chiapet Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Hotwire shows $109. Amenities are fitness center, restaurant, business center, Internet access.Looking for somewhere near ferries, Pike Place for this Saturday. 3-star. Seems like slim pickings if I want a reasonable price.
tilepusher Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding, chiapet. The hotel is a match for the Crowne Plaza, so that would be my best guess. Hotel rates for tomorrow actually don't appear to be very high (by Seattle standards). If you're comfortable with using Priceline (or would like to learn how in the next few hours), you can probably get a 4* for less than the $109 that Hotwire is charging for this room. Or you might be able to get a 3* for $55-65.If you'd like to book this property, please use this HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.
chiapet Posted July 17, 2008 Author Report Posted July 17, 2008 This turned out to be Crowne Plaza. Good location. Property had a few problems: elevators not working or very slow. Was told we were getting a king-size bed, ended up with a slightly larger than full. Noise from air conditioner fan was obnoxious.Parking is $30 or $35 extra, but that's normal for Seattle.
