I would like to book double-room in Athens 1st. August-3rd.August 4-5* star hotel.

Any change to get room from PRICELINE up to 110$/night? Is Athens pre-bid areas?

Yes, I like to try first 5* hotel up to 110$ or little bit more.. We are staying almost 3 weeks around Greek-island hostels and pensions, so it would nice to end our holiday in luxus-hotel but with low costs if possible.

If 5* hotel doesnt accept my bid, I try least expensive 4*.

We dont have back-up hotel yet. I have now 1,5weeks time to get hotel for our stay in Athens 01.08-03.08.

With no re-bid zones 1 1/2 weeks isn't that long of a time...

I'd start by bidding $90 for a 5* property and increase $10 every 24 hours until you reach your limit of $120 or so... keep us updated and if no success by the time you've reached your limit we'll revise to switch t a 4* strategy.
