If our travel dates are flexible, would we be more likely to get a lower rate in Manhattan for Thursday, July 24th through Sunday, July 27th, or Friday, July 25th through Monday, July 28th? Either a 3* or 2.5* would be fine.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Sunday is usually the slowest day of the week for hotels, and NYC is no exception, so i would think that Friday 7/25 to Monday 7/28 would be a little cheaper.

What is your nightly budget (before taxes and fees) for this stay?

To avoid any confusion, which zones, by PRICELINE name, are you willing to bid?

Did you want to try for a 4* before trying for a 3* or 2.5*... or are you looking for the least expensive 2.5* better hotel for your dates? (if the latter, i would at least recommend trying for a 3* before 2.5* as i think it's a "safer" bet in NYC)

Are you ready to bid now?

Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

We should be ready to bid tonight, and are willing to stay in Central Park South, Chelsea, Downtown, the Empire State Building area, Madison Square Garden, Midtown East, Midtown West, and Times Square. At this point, we're really just looking for the least expensive option, as we're not planning on spending a lot of time in the room, though we wouldn't protest at all if a 3-star were to be doable! :)
