mgaebler Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Lots of re-bid opportunities for SEA-TAC airport 3* but none worked for me on this try.Tried $45, $48, $50, $52, $55, AND $58 (subject line got truncated). Wanted airport. 1 night only. Bidding done on Sunday July 6th. Someone else mentioned difficulty winning with their Seattle bidding; I wonder if Priceline inventory needs manual intervention to be replenished, so maybe I'll do better to try again in 24 hours.
jfs Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 My $60 bid was accepted for the two nights, 7/16-18, at the Doubletree. So, it appears likely that you only need to increase your bid another $2.

mgaebler Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 Success at $60! $60 seems like the magic number for 3*. SEA-TAC Airport Hilton.
mgaebler Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 bids up to $58 failed. $60 worked. Price at Hilton website was $249 / night, so $60 seems fair....
