CAF Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Hi there,I need to book a room in NYC for 4 nights, August 24-28, 2008. I'm willing to stay in the following zones (listed in order of preference):Midtown WestCentral Park SouthTimes SquareMidtown EastUpper West SideUpper East SideCould you recommend a Priceline bidding strategy? Ideally, I'd like to spend $150 or less... not sure if this is realistic! Thanks. :)
thereuare Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! Some of the zones above don't have 4* hotels in them... are you familiar with re-bidding? CAF Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks for the info about re-bidding. It looks like there are no 4* hotels in the Upper West/East Side zones... is this right?
thereuare Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 One more question... since you've listed your zones in prefernce order, are you willing to pay more for a hotel in your prefered zone OR are you ultimately looking for the least expensive hotel in any of the four acceptable zones?Let us know and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
