Priceline Hotel: Help with Omaha Zones

It looks like Priceline has split the Omaha Central/NW Zone into two zones. Looking close at the map I'm wondering if that puts the following in the West zone: Holiday Inn Convention Center, HI Miracle Mile, Marriot and Crowne Plaza. And Doubletree (on Cedar St.) in Central. My question is would they put just one 3* in a zone all by itself? And if not what other hotel is in this Central Zone? I want to get that Doubletree but there isn't really any bidding history. Thanks for any help.

If you send me a PM i'll try to have a look at the hotels in each zone and update the list later tonite (or tomorrow depending upon my schedule... or if this is an immediate upcoming stay (w/n the next 7 days) let me know and i'll try to find the time sooner rather than later).

But to answer your other question... the hotel lists shouldn't ever be considered complete so there could always be another 3* hotel in this zone not yet reported to the board (it's not exactly the most frequently traveld to or reported city on the board). As well, given how PRICELINE awards hotels, a property could 'complain' that they're never the winning bid acceptor since they're consistently undercut by another hotel in the zone... by separating the hotel (away from the "undercutting" property) it gives this hotel a chance to be won more frequently. (i'm not suggesting that this is the case here, but it's just one possible scenario that could take place 'behind the scenes')

Is there a particular stay you have in mind? What are the dates?

Agreed on all counts, however very disappointing about the Doubletree stuck in with Holiday Inn Central. But on the upside...at least I can bid the West zone and be assured in not getting the HI.

For this trip due to the fact my parents wanted to be assured of getting a suites hotel ( and the rate was good at 85.00) we won't priceline but will use your Hilton link. Thanks again.
