smitty2424 Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Disneyland trip for me and my son. Used the PRICELINE link from this site. Wanted the Disneyland area...so I utilized the free rebid strategy as follows...1. Opened at $39 for Disneyland 3*...rejected!2. Added Anaheim Hills (no 3* here) and upped to $41...rejected!3. Added Laguna Beach (no 3* again) and went to $47...rejected!4. Added Laguna Hills (no 3* again) and upped to $53...rejected!5. Added Seal Beach (my last free rebid) and went with $57...WON!I've stayed here 5-7 times (always won on Priceline)! This is s good Disney hotel. Clean rooms, nice restaurant, wonderful pool area, and an hourly shuttle (wish this was more frequent). A strong positive is that this is one of the only 3*'s on Priceline in the Disney area that does not charge for parking. I would have preferred the Hilton, or possibly the Hyatt (this ties with Holiday Inn for my tastes)...but am glad I did not get the Doubletree (The City)...as their shuttle service stinks. I've done better for a 3* in this area...but only a fool would think $57 is not a good deal! For comparison purposes...this hotel is $99.00 online! The Motel 6 is charging $61 for the same dates.
