zulasmi Posted July 6, 2008 Author Report Posted July 6, 2008 You can use our own link to purchase the City Pass (thru Viator) and if you book before 8/31/08 you can use coupon code BID5 (from our sister site Things To Do 411) for an extra 5% off :)oh thanks.the difference between The New York pass and New York city pass is that the first have 40 attraction inclueded and it last 1-2-3-7 days the other one has only 6 attraction and it last 9 days? Dont see so much advantages buying the second one ( at the pretty same price) unless the way to do the 6 actraction is for some reason better then the other ticket.Does Viator have also a package like 3 days new york pass and 3 days or similar hop and hop pass?Only found this kind of thing in the official site of new york pass.Other question is, and i hope someone alse is going to answer me because i have feeling u going to come to Florence Italy just to kill me or maybe easier wait me at the Boston airport :) , if i buy NOW online the pass they reserve me the Pass untill i come to the pick up point? I dont want they ship to italy the pass. Thanks
thereuare Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Each of these companies operate under slightly different names so it's hard to keep track of "The New York Pass", "The New York CityPass", "The New York Explorer Pass", etc, etc. the difference between The New York pass and New York city pass is that the first have 40 attraction inclueded and it last 1-2-3-7 days the other one has only 6 attraction and it last 9 days?I suspect they each cover different attractions, the one offering 40 attractions likely have cheaper admission prices than the one offering 6 attractions (although i'm pretty sure it's more than six attractions, and i believe one of them is a 2 hour Circle Line Tour... that alone is $27/adult, and not likely offered on the pass with 40 attractions)Does Viator have also a package like 3 days new york pass and 3 days or similar hop and hop pass?I'm really not that up to date on all the ins/outs of the passes, but this NYC Explorer Pass seems like you can put together your own pass based upon the attractions want to see.Best bet is to figure out which attractions you would like to do and add up the costs of purchasing them invididually vs. any of the passes that you have found. As well, Viator does offer a Hop-On/Hop-Off Tour so weigh the cost of purchasing that ala carte from them along with one of the other passes vs. the combined purchase you're considering.PS, here is a link for The New York Pass (which has the combo tickets you're refering to above)... use the previous link and coupon code: nyp5pc2007 for 5% off. (please use previous link if you purchase this ticket)PPS, here is a link for Visiticket which is offering 8% off with coupon code: SAVE8IN2008 (please use previous link if you purchase this ticket) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
