Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Atlanta (Perimeter) Hilton Garden Inn

Needed one more room and was motivated to try by the posted Hyatt Place win earlier. Live in Europe and have not tried this brand yet.

The Hyatt Place was on PRICELINE for $59 to $69 all last week for the 4th weekend. It disappeared 2 days ago while still available on the 3rd at $49. The $36 win is 26% discount on the HOTWIRE rate again. The Hilton Suites is available 3* on Hotwire at $58.

I am trying to find some systems to use and wonder if the counteroffer mentioned by poster was the available 3* rate for Perimeter as that would be 26% under the 3* HOTWIRE rates. Just a thought.

1. Bid $33 Perimeter. Rejected no counteroffer.

2. Bid $34 Perimeter, re-bid zone. Rejected. no counteroffer.

3. Bid $35 Perimeter, re-bid zone. Rejected, no counteroffer. Realized that the Hyatt offer was probably for a 3 night minimum stay or closed to one night or only for arrivals on the 3rd. I had never seen the HGI under $37 so proceeded.

4. Bid $36. Accepted.

We now have four rooms on the Saturday at the same hotel so that worked out well. Only wished I would have tried 3* $42 to $45 to see what happened before proceeding with $36 2 1/2* Bid.
