Priceline Hotel: Deals in January-right after new years.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if PRICELINE usually has really good deals right after Jan.1st with flights and hotels in Oahu. Has anyone ever bid for those days? I remember I went to Vegas this yr after the holidays and it was 70$ instead of 90$ for a 4 star hotel.

The thing to do is find the best deal you can outside of the the opaque suppliers and then try to do better with PRICELINE and HOTWIRE.

However, i woudn't expect too great of a deal on airfare at the moment, given the cutback in routes the airlines are experiencing... many flights will probably remain full and little need for the airlines to sell deeply discounted tickets thru the opaque suppliers.
