travellingmom Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I just went through a series of bids and rejections for a 4* hotel in either Copley Square or the Quincy/Financial District for Friday 8/1 - Monday 8/4. The best price I've found on other travel sites was a Hotwire 4.5* in Quincy for $199. There is a convention this weekend using some of the hotels in this area. I'm not sure what my next steps should be.Using this board's PRICELINE links, I did the following:Select 4* Copley...Bid $85, rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, rejected closed browserSelect 4* Quincy...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, rejected, closed browserSelect 4* Copley and Quincy...Bid $105, rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $110, rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $115, rejected closed browserSelect 4* Copley and Quincy and re-bid zone3...Bid $120, rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $130Should I start looking at breaking up my stay? I'd really like to avoid doing that. I need to stay below $150.
