thereuare Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! The above matches previous reports for both the Hudson Hotel and the Novotel so either of these would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
happa331 Posted July 1, 2008 Author Report Posted July 1, 2008 thanks for the info.i also found on Quickbook THE TIME for $218 for the same time as above.the GERSHWIN for $215anyone have thoughts on those compared to the HOTWIRE???
thereuare Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 I'm not too familiar with the other two properties, but the Novotel is nice and centrally located... the Hudson is 'modern and hip', but has notoriously small rooms that i don't think i would want to stay there for a week.Have you considered SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID which would give you an opportunity to stay in two different areas of the city? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. (or our Quickbook link) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

happa331 Posted July 11, 2008 Author Report Posted July 11, 2008 it looks like it might be the Sheraton New york. The number of reviews quoted on HOTWIRE and on tripadvisor are almost the same.thanks for the help.i will keep on hunting.
happa331 Posted July 16, 2008 Author Report Posted July 16, 2008 i just checked on the MTC hotel on HOTWIRE has dropped to $205.does anyone out there think it will drop more?or its hit bottom?thanks for the help

thereuare Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 How familiar are you with NYC? The Central Park zone is mostly comprised of UES and UWS, and goes as far north to Harlem, and these areas are not where you want to be as a typical tourist... do you have a need to be in this area? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. happa331 Posted July 20, 2008 Author Report Posted July 20, 2008 Do any of the above work for your needs or are you looking to still try bidding for this stay?thanks for all the hard work.we are interested in them. the Buckingham looks like a good deal too...but we are still pretty interested in the original MTC, which hopefully is theHudson.we are most likely will make up our mind today ... so we dont have to think about it...anymore.
thereuare Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 3.5* Midtown Central NYC$219 a night from 8/22 to 8/30Amenities listedFitness CenterBusiness CenterRestaurantHigh Speed InternetThe above matches previous reports for both the Hudson Hotel and the Novotel so either of these would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.we are still pretty interested in the original MTC, which hopefully is theHudson.Currently on HOTWIRE the 3.5* in the MTC zone is shownig Tripadvisor reviews of 3/5 with 1000+ reviews... this is consistent (see this link) with the Hudson (and not the Novotel) so the Hudson would be our best guess for this property. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
