Hotwire Hotel: Help finding a hotel in Quebec 5/8 - 7/8

There is nothing on hotwire for those dates. Maybe I should keep looking, something might pop up closer to Aug.

I tried bidding on Priceline, but I am a complete newbie at it. My offer keeps getting rejected, even when I check all the surrounding areas.

Any suggestions anyone? These are the details.

5th Aug to 7th Aug, preferably in Quebec city. Beauport or Ste-foy also fine.

2 rooms, total of 4 adults and 2 kids.

Added the amenities to the Montreal hotel as you asked. I am new to the forum, so thanks for bearing with me.

As for this thread, HOTWIRE does not show me any hotels for these dates for Quebec City. I tried bidding on PRICELINE, for 3 stars or above, at a bid of $100 per night, but my offer gets rejected. Even when I add all the surrounding areas.

Do you think I should search closer to my dates? HOTWIRE may have some listings then?

It appears that something is happening in Quebec for these dates... the Hilton and Delta are both sold-out and the Loews Le Concorde has rates much higher than usual. (and HOTWIRE only showing one hotel in the Aiprort zone for these dates reinforces this)

It's possible that inventory will open up as you get closer to your check-in date, but i would definately book a cancellable back-up in the meantime in case you don't have success as your dates draw closer.
