Wow. I lowballed my first bid of $70. for a Resort Hotel in Cancun and won on the first bid.

The hotel is the Gran Melia which - from the website - looks pretty nice.

I put the bid in on 6/28 for October 2 to October 7 of this year.

Now, I have to try and find some cheap airfare.

Great forum here. I hope there is a 12 step program, because I'm becoming a PRICELINE addict.

I usually find my airfare first then nab the property --

airfare deltas can easily swamp any hotel deal.
