Buzliteyear Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 Firstly, great forum. We've been following it now for several months, but just registered today as I have a question. We're looking to land a resort hotel in Miami. Just in case, we began bidding at $90 and we're now up to $170. I'm willing to go higher, but I'm concerned that we're going to end up in a hotel that will be disappointing for the price. I'm still a bit new to PRICELINE and the "not knowing" part is eating at me.There are not a lot of posts regarding resort hotels in Miami. Any info or reassurance would be appreciated.Thanks. Buzliteyear Posted October 9, 2008 Author Report Posted October 9, 2008 Hey,Okay, we tried bidding a Miami Resort level hotel from $60. (worth a shot after the great deal we just had in Cancun) all the way up to $100 with no takers. Our big issue is the pool for our kids. I'm debating bidding 4 star hotels, and they look like they all have pools, but I wanted to get some feedback here first. Do you guys think we would most likely get a hotel with a pool in Miami if we open up to 4 stars? We will most likely going in the first week of December.Thanks. The Conga Line Never Stops!

thereuare Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Ahh, actually, this is for a different time of the year...Since there was no follow up to your previous thread :) , i naturally assumed it was for the same stay. Please be sure to follow-up your posts in the future (rather than asking for help and then leaving the thread 'hanging' with no conclusion or resolution). If you're consider ALL PRICELINE zones then i don't think it would be 'safe' to bid the 4* level and count on receiving a hotel with a pool. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
