johnp Posted July 7, 2008 Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 I will pay to stay but how do I keep it lowest?I see folks have stayed for $75 and others stayed for $125. My budget can handle either but I prefer low.I want a deal and to feel like I saved.
thereuare Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 I usually find the better value at the higher rated hotels, so if it was me i would try for a 4* up to $100 for a few weeks, and then if you continue to be rejected, then consider dropping to a 3* or increasing my bid for a 4*, but at this point i would think that any 4* hotel in San Francisco at sub-$100 would be a pretty good deal.Let us know if this seems like a good plan to you or if you prefer some other route and we'll suggest a strategy accordingly. If so, to confirm, you'd be bidding for a 4* hotel in USE, USW or Fishermans Wharf? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
