d-uneek
It's a 3 day weekend in Vancouver this weekend and it seems the hotels recognize that as a popular date of travel. I haven't seen many posts about Vancouver this month or for most of next, but I'm hoping someone could give me a last minute tip on a hotel with deals or a strategy for Priceline? Your help is greatly appreciate, :-D. Thank you. Link to comment

d-uneek
I would prefer not to spend over $100 a night if possible and I don't mind a 3 star as opposed to a 4. If worse comes to worse, maybe even a 2 1/2. I really appreciate your help. Link to comment
thereuare
I'd be surprised if $100 is enough for this stay, but to give it a try...You have two re-bid zones available when bidding 3* in Vancouver. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3* Vancouver...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100.Any questions freel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. d-uneek
Yeah, you were right. It didn't work, so I'll have to try again tomorrow I guess. Link to comment
thereuare
Given this stay commences tomorrow, do you have a back-up plan should you fail with PRICELINE? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
d-uneek
Given this stay commences tomorrow, do you have a back-up plan should you fail with PRICELINE?Honestly, I don't. It's sort of a 'do or die' situation, so to speak. Luckily, I'm within driving distance to Vancouver, so if I don't go, no plane tickets have to be honored or canceled. Link to comment
dahammer
have you considered HOTWIRE? There is a 3.5* available for $99, but its in the airport zone. Link to comment

Thank you for mentioning that deal though! If only they were so reasonably priced downtown. Link to comment
d-uneek
For this particular trip, I ended up just not going. The hotel prices were far too pricey at the time. Link to comment
