I used Hotwire for a trip in March 2008.

I bid on:

And I got:

Holiday Inn Select Windsor (Ambassador Bridge) for $71 (all fees/taxes incl.)

I had been hoping for a downtown location also, but this ended up working out just as well. Now that I've found this forum I can hopefully be a better detective at finding out what hotels are what!!
