Hotwire Hotel: Chicago 3.5* Check in Jul 10 / Check out Jul 12

A buddy and I are staying in Chicago Thu and Fri night (July 10 and 11). I'm trying to decide between three hotels in three different neighborhoods. We'll be going out at night for dinner/drinks, so would prefer to be in an area where there is nightlife if possible. Here's the three options, all 3.5 stars:

$119 - 3.5-star hotel in Chicago Loop; Fitness Center, Restaurant, Laundry, High Speed Internet

$133 - 3.5-star hotel in North Michigan Avenue - Water Tower - Gold Coast; Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby

$125 - 3.5-star hotel in Magnificent Mile Area - Streeterville; Fitness Center, Restaurant, High Speed Internet, (Laundry)

Does HOTWIRE also associate a Laundry icon associated with the 3.5* in the Magnificent Mile Area - Streeterville property?

Just checked and I do see a laundry icon with the Mag Mile hotel....but now it is $153 a night.

It also appears that the 2nd hotel has changed, and both this 'replacement' and 3rd hotel listed above are now both over $150+/nite... is this above your budget?

The 3.5* Loop property is still priced at $119/nite and this is a match for the Club Quarters Central Loop so that would be our best guess. Will this property work for your needs?

I was trying to stay around $120...but I'm not keen on the Club Quarters.

Are you familiar with Chicago? I've stayed at the Allegro, which I believe is part of the Loop. I'm curious if Gold Coast would be a better social/nightlife scene for my friend and I.

The prices on HOTWIRE have been going up steadily for the weekend I'm looking for...thankfully I was able to book at the Hotel Burnham through their site for only $139 a night. Thanks for your help...I'm going to keep monitoring prices and potential cancel my reservation in favor of a better deal if it comes up.
