I ended up deciding that I couldn't pass up a $59 suite hotel.....I'm so glad I didn't !! It was the Sheraton Suites at the Galleria - the lowest rate on the hotel website was $132!!!

I'm so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have double checked the dates, and I scheduled this for the WRONG weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crap.

Of course the Hotwire site says no refunds or changes..... does anyone have any ideas??????

This is such a DUMB obvious mistake - what a dummy I am. UGH!!!! $289 down the drain!!!!!!!!!!

You'll never believe it!!! Hotwire customer service actually refunded my first reservation and re-booked it for the next weekend, and I ended up at the same hotel for only a couple of dollars more. I was SHOCKED! Hooray! The guy said he'd make a one-time exception to their strict no-refund policy, since it was just an innocent mistake. :) It might have helped that I'd booked through HOTWIRE before - who knows.

Yea!!!!! Thought I'd share the good news!!!!
