holtju2 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 This is interesting. It seems that the Whitney's lowest rate is $45 and Hyatt's rate is $46. For the first date I bid $40, $42, $44, and then $46 that got me to Hyatt. On the second bid I started at $44 and was accepted at $45 and got Whitney. On the third bid I started at $44 and the second bid was $46 and that got me in to Hyatt. swag Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Looks like you'll be doing some hotel-hopping.Be aware that New Orleans taxis charge a flat/minimum rate of $10 to take you from between hotels if you have any luggage at all, even though the Whitney is only 6 blocks from the Hyatt. On the other hand, given the weather in New Orleans this time of year, and the thought of a quarter mile walk lugging a suitcase, that could be $10 well spent...Enjoy your trip.
thereuare Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 ... for $10 i hope they'll actually get out of the cab and put the luggage in the trunk for you! :) Swag, great 'local' information!!
