terri Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Just returned from SF after spending 3 nights at the La Quinta airport hotel. This was NOT what I consider to be a 2.5*. I was put in a building that was literally across the railroad tracks from the main building - about a block away from the continental breakfast (which wasn't worth walking over for), the pool and fitness center. Internet access was lousy - pages wouldn't load and the connection constantly needed resetting.Parking was bad. This is a "park and fly" property, but they don't have a parking lot designated for the park and fly people. Their cars take up all the spaces near the guest rooms forcing those actually staying at the hotel to have to hunt down a space. The beds very very hard with skimpy bedding. This was my first time using HOTWIRE and I will not trust them again.I have used PRICELINE many times in the past and have always been happy with the quality of the hotel I have received.I will also never stay at a La Quinta again.

terri Posted June 21, 2008 Author Report Posted June 21, 2008 I bid for a 2.5* on HOTWIRE, and was disappointed that they consider this a 2.5* property. That is why I will not trust or use HOTWIRE again.
