I assume that you're looking at the "confirmation" page before you actually submit your bid (asking you doublecheck all the information)... did you ever click a "buy my hotel now" button?

Simply because they show you that page doesn't mean that PRICELINE has found a hotel to accept your bid. You need to enter all your credit card info before they will check if a hotel is able to accept your bid... and i'm fairly certain $20 isn't going to do it.

Hi,

After trying and trying during the weekend, I finally succeeded. I booked for 60$ a night (4 nights) at 2* Fairfield Inn in Portsmouth, NH. I am rather satisfied, given that they seem to ask for a lot more when booking the traditional way (about $169). I do not now if you have this hotel on your list
